As an atheist and a feminist I am often disappointed to find the other atheists I meet aren't necessarily feminists and some are even hostile to the idea. It's very good to read this, I have always thought that atheism and feminism would logically go together given religions usual hatred of women and atheism's rational understanding of human rights.
