They do not usually do this (fortunately) but must believe that they should or possibly wish they could. I just got home from driving from Minnesota to Arizona and back, it amazed me how the poorer the area seems to be the more religion seems to be at the forefront of people's thoughts, words and billboards. Just as studies show crime rates going down seems to coincide with the rise of people not associated with any religion.
